During the school year, Redeemer offers an exciting program for moms called Moms at Heart. It is open to moms of children age infant through school age. We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday mornings of each month. It is a time of fun, fellowship, learning, and sharing. This is a great opportunity for moms to receive a break from their daily routine and to spend time with other moms. The moms share ideas, build friendships, learn from one another, discuss relevant topics and use their creative talents. The teaching is based on biblical principles, and the discussion time provides an open, Christian atmosphere. Child care is provided in our nurseries for children from infants to Kindergarten age. The people who care for your children are dedicated, loving volunteers with many years of experience as mothers and/or child care providers. In caring for your children, they demonstrate their love for little ones and provide a time for you to share with other moms and be strengthened in your role.

Redeemer has been a drop off location for Operation Christmas Child for several years. Each November, Redeemer and our community donate shoeboxes filled with toys, candy, school supplies, and other goodies to Operation Christmas Child. These shoeboxes are then shipped all over the world. Click on the above link to find out more information on this wonderful ministry.

The food pantry at Redeemer serves several families from the Liverpool and Phoenix, NY area. Food is distributed on the third Tuesday of each month from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., however, needs may also be met at other times on an emergency basis. Church donated food is available to anyone in need, but items provided through a grant by the Food Bank are distributed to those who meet eligibility requirements. For those who coordinate the Food Pantry, keeping Redeemer families informed about the needs of the program is essential. An item of the week for donation to the Food Pantry is posted in the Sunday bulletins. Children in Sunday School classes participate in exercises, which help them relate to people who don't have enough food. For example, a package serving size is compared to the meal portions to which they are accustomed to eating. The Food Pantry is viewed at Redeemer as an opportunity not only to touch people with God's love by providing for their physical needs, but also by relating to each visitor on a personal and spiritual level. By getting to know each person who comes, we can offer friendship, encouragement, support, and spiritual guidance.
